Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 23, 2026

This policy describes how Techtonic Development, Inc. (“Techtonic,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Athleum on iOS, Android, and the web, and when you contact us about the service. Athleum is a platform for organizations, families, and staff to manage teams, events, attendance, time tracking, and related payments.

The service is for the United States

Athleum is offered to people and organizations in the United States. We process information in the United States. If you use the service from somewhere else, you send your information to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from the laws where you live.

Information we collect

We collect the following information when you provide it or when the service needs it to operate.

  • Account and profile. Name, email address, password, phone number, date of birth, gender, address, city, state, postal code, country, biography, profile photo, time zone, and your role in an organization. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifiers and account details those services provide, such as your name and email address.
  • Child profiles. A parent or guardian may add a profile for a child they are responsible for. A child profile can include the child’s name, date of birth, gender, phone number, and the parent or guardian’s relationship to the child. Children do not create accounts and do not use the app.
  • Organization activity. Organizations you join or administer, groups, events, RSVPs, registrations, attendance, waitlists, leave, and messages or invitations sent through the service.
  • Time tracking and location. Clock-in and clock-out times. If an organization requires location verification for clock-in, we collect precise location at the time of clock-in or clock-out, including coordinates, accuracy, and the result of the location check. We use that location to confirm the person is at the assigned site. We do not collect location continuously in the background for advertising or for a location history.
  • Photos. Photos you take or choose for a profile or a group logo. The camera and photo library are used only when you choose a photo.
  • Payments. Billing contact details, the last four digits and brand of a card, expiration date, and transaction records such as invoices, subscriptions, refunds, and disputes. Card numbers are entered into Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Device and notifications. A push-notification token and basic device information needed to deliver notifications. The website and apps store a sign-in session on your device so you can stay signed in.
  • Technical logs. IP address, app or browser type, and the date and time of requests, used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
  • Support. Information you send to us by email, including the contents of a privacy or deletion request.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and secure accounts, including sign-in with email, Apple, and Google
  • Let parents and guardians manage child profiles for teams and events
  • Run organizations, groups, schedules, RSVPs, attendance, leave, and time tracking
  • Verify clock-in location when an organization requires it
  • Process payments, refunds, and billing notices
  • Send service messages, including event reminders and account notices you can control in notification settings
  • Protect the service, prevent fraud, and fix errors
  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

Organizations you join

Athleum is used by independent organizations such as clubs, teams, and programs. When you or your child joins an organization, that organization receives the member information it needs to operate, including profiles, roster and group membership, event registration and attendance, time entries, and billing status. Staff and administrators of that organization can view and manage those records. The organization is responsible for its own use of that information, including any privacy notice it gives its members.

Techtonic decides how Athleum accounts, sign-in, security, notifications, and payment processing work. The organization decides how it runs its own programs, rosters, and staff timekeeping. If you belong to more than one organization, each organization receives the information connected to your participation in that organization.

Children

Athleum is a service for adults, including parents, guardians, coaches, and organization staff. A child does not create an account, sign in, or operate the app. A parent or guardian may add a child profile and use it to register the child for teams, events, and related activities.

We use child-profile information to provide the activities the parent or guardian requested, and we share it with the organizations that parent or guardian joins for the child. We do not use child-profile information for advertising. We do not knowingly let a child under 13 create an account or use the app. If you believe a child has created an account, email privacy@techtonicdev.com and we will delete it.

A parent or guardian may review, correct, or request deletion of a child profile by emailing privacy@techtonicdev.com from the parent or guardian account email.

When we share information

We share information in these cases:

  • Organizations. With organizations you or your child join, as described above.
  • Service providers. With companies that process information for us under our instructions:
    • Amazon Web Services, for hosting, account sign-in, file storage, and the database
    • Apple, when you use Sign in with Apple, and for delivery of iOS notifications
    • Google, when you use Google sign-in, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
    • Stripe, for payment processing
  • Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or a request from a public authority, or when it is needed to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, organizations, the public, or Techtonic.
  • Business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, sale, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you of a change in ownership that affects your information.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Advertising

Athleum does not show third-party ads and does not use personal information for advertising. If we add advertising later, we will update this policy before we do, and we will not use child-profile information for advertising. If advertising involves tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, we will ask for permission through the controls the app stores require.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s use of payment information is described in Stripe’s privacy policy. Organization fees are handled for the organization offering the activity. We keep payment records needed to provide receipts, refunds, and fraud prevention, and to meet tax and accounting duties.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After we verify a deletion request, we delete or de-identify personal information within 90 days, including from backups as those backups expire.

Precise clock-in coordinates are kept for 90 days unless the organization has set a different retention period in Athleum. Time-entry records without precise coordinates may remain for the organization’s payroll and attendance needs.

We may keep some information longer when we need it for tax, accounting, chargebacks, fraud prevention, security, or another legal obligation. Billing records are the main example. We may also keep de-identified records that no longer identify you. An organization may keep its own copies of roster, attendance, and time records under its policies.

Your choices and requests

You may:

  • Review and update profile information in the app or on the website
  • Turn off push notifications in your device settings, and adjust notification preferences in Athleum
  • Deny location, camera, or photo access in your device settings. Clock-in that requires location may then be unavailable.
  • Disconnect Apple or Google sign-in by using the settings those companies provide, and by changing how you sign in to Athleum

To request access to, a copy of, or correction of your personal information, or to appeal a decision on a privacy request, email privacy@techtonicdev.com from the email address on your account. We may need to confirm that you control that email address. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Delete your account

In the Athleum iOS and Android apps, open Profile and use Delete account to start a deletion request. You may also email privacy@techtonicdev.com from the email address on the account. We will delete the account and the personal information described above, including child profiles on that account, subject to the retention exceptions in this policy. We will revoke Sign in with Apple tokens connected to a deleted account.

Deleting an account does not by itself delete an organization’s separate records of attendance, registrations, or payments that the organization must keep. We remove or de-identify your account information from those records where we can do so without breaking legal duties.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to. You may request correction or deletion, subject to legal exceptions. You may use an authorized agent if you provide proof of that authorization and verify your identity.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that give you a right to limit that use under California law, other than providing the service you requested, security, and legal compliance. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

To submit a California request, email privacy@techtonicdev.com.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. If we make a material change in how we use personal information, we will provide notice through the service or by email before the change takes effect where the law requires it.
